to change my headphone

hi,

I have a very good Philips SHP 2700 headphone that does a few years of use. I want to exchange for another. I do not understand much of the specifications, I would like the opinion and the help in the good choice.

I'm watching the Philips Fidelio L1 and Philips A5 PRO. I listen to musics of various styles exclusively in the computer like trance, rock, jazz and classics and also use for games. Will I have a significant improvement in quality? Which is the better option?

What kind of improvement you are looking to get? I have not heard those Philips cans but I have heard quite many cans from different manufacturers. Also what is your budget?

I already tested the philips shl 3300, I would say that it is equal to shp 2700. Very good.

I think a clearer sound for games with details, and at the same time listening to trance music with beats is cool. Would a good soundstage be an immersion of music? I believe that would be it.
I could buy up to 300.

Sennheiser HD6XX would be great pick if you are not in hurry. If you need them asap then I would look for Sennheiser HD598 or HD600. They are not bass heavy but they have clear and accurate sound with good positional sound as well. If you want more bass then I would look for Beyerdynamic DT990. I personally have HD600 and love them for both music and gaming.

The best pure sound headphones I've had are Grados, the best noise isolation are the top end etymotic research ER-4p

This is vitally important information. Like speakers, headphone choice is highly subjective. If you were primarily into jazz or classical then I'd suggest the Massdrop HD6XX for their detail and flat frequency response, however they are not trance cans or a good choice for anyone that likes bass heavy Beats. If you don't want to buy Beats then you might give a listen to one of Sennheiser's gaming headsets or a V-MODA Crossfade M-100.

I have seen some analysis of this model and it seems very good.

listening to more detailed music without those bass are present ... a more refined sound, instrumental and vocals... but ultimately serves both purposes. Sennheiser hd598 !

They say it has a very balanced sound like Audio Technica Ath-m50x. Has anyone tried it yet?

The Senn 598 is a better and more accurate headphone than the AT. "more balanced" than the AT for sure.

I owned an set of the AT, and I ended up selling them once I bought my 598.

But....

The 598 does not dig as deep on the bass as the AT. However, the AT has some bass bloat or mid-bass bloat going on that just doesn't quite sound right. On many tracks, the AT sounded great, but there were also several tracks where the AT had this unnatural sound on the low end that was offending to the critical listener.

I would still choose the 598 over the AT any day!

I would also suggest looking into AKG

HD598 has way better sound quality and more neutral sound. HD598 are a lot more comfortable to wear imo and that alone makes them superior to me
