hi everybody, i've been out of active audio for years, i have been trying to link rec, not ness. to gain any more power and certainly not to loose any, i have been uns. i have read my yamaha manual, says many ways, pre outs and in's but dont want to loose my old eq. said cecter to second amp. pre in, did not work, and i don't want to run from effect amps, really i just want to couple 3-4 amp's, mostly for clear non effect mode, plus remote spk. control-vol/bass/treble, have a huge listenig area, lots of rec and spk. this is what i wish to do, may be dumb, but it's worth plain with, 0 cost, so if anyone knows how PLEASE LET ME KNOW!, imagine 4 speaker control box's with their own power and control's, oh yeah, each rec. need play same string music at same time, leaving all controll's but tone vole not touched in linked amps, just repeat what passes through main amp. dam hope that made some sence to someone, it's like in my head, but just can't work it out, or spit it out lol

Welcome to the AH and I hope you find answers to your questions. There is a lot of knowledge here.
Enjoy the time.

Unfortunately, I couldn't understand what you wrote. I would guess that English may not be your first language, but, there are enough words that you abbreviated in your post that I can't make heads or tails of what you would like to accomplish. I think I get a general idea, but, I could be miles off.

Could you give your description another try? Perhaps a diagram or picture? I'd like to help, but, simply couldn't understand the premise.

sure, as i said, probably was confusing, because i'm not a great typer, however i can understand a paragraph written backwards or upside down, i simply wanted a veiw on hooking rec. one after the other, reproducing the same original amp's signal, sort of using the added amp's as further speake hook up's and own wattage, and own remote vol. ect. i tried to write plain, hope it was better, i'm a one finger typer, looking at the key's usually no pinch. just figure people can get the jist

What is rec one after another? And everything after that? Type it like we are in 1st grade. List your equipment and what you want to do with it and by list make and model.

Extremely hard to understand. I think he wants to daisy chain receivers together but I'm unclear on what he expects from such....

Do you already have the receivers?

If you don't need the receivers for surround and if you already have stereo receivers, connect the source(s) to one of them and connect an audio cable to its REC OUT. Then, connect the other end of the cable to the AUX, TAPE1, CD of the next receiver- select the appropriate source on the second receiver and play some music- if you hear the same music from the second receiver, connect its REC OUT to the third receiver's source input. If that works, repeat the connections to the fourth receiver.

If this works for the first and second receivers, but not for the rest, you may need some kind of distribution amplifier for the audio- CE Labs, Russound, ART Audio and others sell these and they're not terribly expensive.

Where are you located? If you're in the US, Parts Express should have what you need.

in the begining, you say conn. the source, is that my first rec? and is that pre out, or marked (s), the rest i get, the reason i'm attemting this, is although i have a 5.1/7.1 yamaha, i do no like effect, i have a very large room, i'm adding speakers, not small one's, wish to use multiple rec. to reproduse same sound same time, so i can hook up more speaker's and control each pr. off each rec. remote, also as not to over tax my yamaha, with all these spk. have all these amps./rec. anyway, so i'm a playin, all you guy's have helped on one thing or another, though i'm still gonna be askin, many heads are better than one, sorry about any spelling/punch./no caps. ect. typing is not my game
