RX-V3200 Display Problems - All lights lit

I picked up a Yamaha RX-V3200 that a friend was going to throw away. The display panel has every possible led pixel lit and it is impossible to tell what's going on with the settings. I can't seem to find if this is a known issue and don't know if it is worth attempting a repair.

Any thoughts, please?

I'd just shut the display off and use OSD when needed. Repairing doesn't seem like it would be cost effective

So you've tried to see if it functions otherwise like EverettT says, seing if you can use just an OSD? Not a good sign in any case, tho
