Hey Guys,

I was given these speakers from a friend of mine since he upgraded. I'm in the process of finishing my basement, so these are a great gift. Now here is what I have below, any recommendations? I know I need a receiver, and eventually my gameing systems will be connected to this if possible? I like to keep my budject for anything i would need to compete this setup for under 1k

What I was given, No wires etc
Polk Audio
2x LSi25
2xLSif/x
1x LSIM706c

Those speakers will need a 4ohm stable receiver in all but the smallest of rooms. I'd look at the denon x4300 while they are still available. That would take about 750/800 of the 1k budget. As for speaker wire it depends on your surrounds distance but 14 gauge should be sufficient for all speakers. Monoprice is good for value for wire and mediabridge for connectors.

Hey thanks for the recommendation I found it on sale along with a $100 gift card

https://m.newegg.com/products/9SIA3JX4MR7976?ignorebbr=true&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-Mobile&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-Mobile-_-pla-_-Receivers-_-9SIA3JX4MR7976&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0K7NBRC7ARIsAEaqLRHvL2VTlJCt-_bW6bk5YyZ2yqEGFFSHDmbE6XrxsIRTc3Hu_Dp_m0UaArfTEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Besides speaker wire, mediabridge would I need anything else like a Amp? Also any place for good sound panels? I'm assuming anything on amazon prob won't cut it? I can up my budject to $1500 if needed.

Amp no, Denon AVR-X4300 is, among many other things, a pretty strong amplifier. As for other components, you'll have to be more precise. What are you planing to use it for? What sources will you run over this system? Although, this model is so packed I suspect there's little more you'll need. It'll stream your network, FM radio, games, movies, bluetooth devices, it'll connect to wireless speakers in other rooms, it'll help you set the sound, you can remotely control it over a smart phone or an i-pad etc.

Agree, the 4300 is the current hot deal and it's a great receiver. Now's a good time to take advantage.

Connecting games consoles could be either super easy or huge pain. it depends.
Anything with hdmi (xbox360,xbone, ps3, ps4)- should be connected using hmdi - for short run - 6-10ft - i'd use cheapest monoprice cables. KabelDirekt or AmazonBasics are also ok.
For rest - YMMV: here's a good read:

Great starting info, thanks for the link!

For speaker wire i was told 20-22 gauge, My room itself is 22FT x 11FT

You were told wrong. Speakers wire should be at least 14 gauge or thicker.
