Hello everyone, after posting in the television section, and getting an idea of what I wanted to get, I decided to go with the following Samsung QLED 4K HD TV:Model: UN55MU7000FXZA . Just want to get the appropriate HDMI cables for this TV and it's technology. Want to get 3 or 4-8 foot HDMI cable's with the normal HDMI connectors on each end. Also looking to choose bluejeans cables' appropriate medium grade of cable for this TV and it's input and output capabilities as far as it's 3 HDMI inputs are concerned. Want to get these cables ASAP. Any and all help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Joe.

Ummm...just buy the blue jeans hdmi cable at the length you want. Does not matter which one. Because as long as it is made correctly and not over 15 ft length, almost any decent hdmi cable will perform exactly like any other at the same version of hdmi.

For the lengths you are talking you could go for the BJC Belden Series-FE HDMI Cable. It is supposed to be more flexible. That can be good for routing. The lighter cable weight can also put less strain on the hdmi socket---which in my experiance can be an issue. Those jumbo fat hdmi cables one sees for silly money can rip a socket out of a pcb board.

Or go for the BJC budget Tartan line.

The other options really only make sense for long runs. The BJC page spells out the suitable applications for each cable they offer.

The only difference presuming decent construction and no faulty fabrication will have to do with how the plug moldings and strain releif work, how stiff the cable is perhaps, etc. BJC makes good stuff, don't get me wrong. They may last longer than cheaper cables if you stress them, unplug and rep lug, bend them around, etc.

That's exactly what I did.(4-six foot BJC Belden, HDMI cables) All good now. Thanks! Joe B.

Can't go wrong. The tartan are fine too. If I was running long lengths in wall then it can get trickier. Have fun!

I've used their fancy ones and their Tartan ones. Other than the pricier ones being more "solid" I don't notice any performance difference between them, with mostly 3-6ft lengths. For short runs, the Tartans should be the easy choice.

I think the flexible one they offer can be handy.

Tip: I have often used those stick on hooks from 3m or stick on Velcro, affixed to the back of the tv to provide some support of the cable and strain relief on the socket.

The design of hdmi sockets is not the most robust on the best case and some implementations a receipe for misery.
