Hey guys any idea why when I power on my receiver it automatically switches from cab/sat to media player (fire tv) ? Is there a priority setting for inputs or something I'm missing?

Sometimes there is. In the menu you can select what input and volume level etc when it starts up. Not sure where you'd find it in your particular manual though.

Sounds like an hdmi-cec issue (like ARC), is your hdmi control enabled in these units?
