Hi!

Newb questions...

What does the "0" in the speaker level settings indicate and how do these speaker levels behave in relation to the master volume?

Thanks.

Speaker level settings are to account for room acoustics relative to your listening position. Speakers are level adjusted relative to each other at a known level. The master volume controls all of them obviously, with those level adjustments intact.

I'd add that it takes into account largely the distance from speaker to listening position while also compensating for any differences in sensitivity among the speakers.

As others indicated but it allows you to adjust each channel to the same level with a given signal input at the primary listening seat. The 0 is just the middle of the adjusting range of that trim. It may or may not be the same after proper level matching.
