You might look at some of the JBL Pro Control series speakers. They are monitors made for systems on the go like broadcast vans, so they are made for some rugged use, although not on the level of actual touring equipment. Since they are JBL Pro, they should have a relatively flat response. Check out the C2PS or the Pro 1.

some of these suggestions are just too big...JBL Pro 1 weigh 12 pounds? thats almost half the allowed weight.....anything jump out as a good system that are 6" or less would be realistic. I have lots of other things to take as well ...;)o_O
keep thinking friends and a million thanks!!

Your restrictions are restricting you right out of what you are trying to achieve!

Yet, I will try another option for you.

A small amp

And small cube speakers. These do sound surprisingly OK for their small size.

Some step-up options on the speakers

Or, maybe this is the number

You must understand that you won't get great bass from small speakers, that is dictated by the Laws of Physics.

I think you have three choices, either get yet another crappy and tiny bt speaker, headphones or like suggested above get a DIY speaker kit: diagrams, speakers and crossover and build a box using local wood.
Some good kits here:

You could order drivers and crossover elements with front panel (baffle) or full kit and dispose of sides and back to cut the volume and weight.

You'd also need to purchase a small D-class amp to power these, like this one:

But I got the feeling the weight is going to the killer for you So it back to either crappy BT speakers (not due to BT wireless protocol, but due to physics - small speakers don't sound very good or headphones.

Mackie CR3 produce really clear sound for its size and price. You can check it out if you are interested. I am sure you will find this studio monitor great with its really great specs.
CR3 is good, especially for the size and $.

I've had a pair as my garage speakers for several years now. Personally, I like the green trim, but it's not for everyone.

Hi, @MyMelody. Something tells me that the OP is unlikely to check this thread, given that he was gone over two years ago

I use these and find them very satisfying.

They are small enough to fit into any suitcase or backpack but you must refine your expectations. They won't go low and won't go loud but for filling a normal sized room with fairly pleasing sound at reasonable levels,, I love 'em. Being USB powered is an added benefit.
