If you want to see a variety of measurements for subs by a respected third-party tester, try Josh Ricci's site www.data-bass.com . Read the articles on subs and how they're measured. He unfortunately can't test every sub out there but he's got a wide variety of both commercial and diy subs on there....
Thank you my friend.. I will sure look into it

So I called the two guys who order from abroad.. they claim they're pros and can prepare a whole home cinema room with professional standards.. one of them use aerial acoustics while the other uses Atlantic technology

The one with aerial acoustics says ordering one sub would cost over a grand kd ($3000 approximately) which I find insane.. what do you think?

hey guys .. keeping you with the updates :)

I had a lengthy talk with the Atlantic Technology guy and he recommends the 8200e series with a 4400 for surround .. plus 642e for the subs.. the coast of the system is approximately 3500KD ($11500) .. what do you say?

I've never heard anything from that company, but the specs look promising.

Do you have an opportunity to hear them? Is there a return policy in case you don't like them? That's a lot of money, not that it's too unusual for quality speakers, but I'd damn well make sure I like them before spending that much!

There have to be many options in that price range. Let's see if anyone is familiar with the company or if it's overpriced.

he actually offered me a used set from his brother (over a year of usage) but he claim they still sound great and they have long life comparing to other brands.. but I'm not sure if the series is the same though.. maybe different models

I'd hold tight and keep looking. 3500KD ($11500) isn't pocket change and there are so many options in that price range. That's me, and it's because I know nothing about those speakers. Someone might pop in here and tell you that's a great price for those, but again, there are a lot of options in that price range.

Some of the speaker companies' sub offerings can be fairly pricey, and shipping a fully assembled sub internationally isn't cheap, especially one at a time. Aerial speakers are pretty well regarded from what I've read but no personal experience; AT maybe not quite as highly recommended in what I've read and aside from a friend who had a set a long time ago (and have no idea what model) haven't heard any either.

it does sound a risky deal to me.. I forgot to mention he invited me to his home to hear what he has to offer but at this stage I can only compare to my polk speakers which is useless to say that it's more likely to sound better than them.. one thing he kept saying though about paradigm.. he said don't buy from me and if I were to give you a set for free refuse them

I doubt Paradigm is that bad, but many people become big fans of the brand they own :)

I happen to have a cousin there who needs some help in looting a government bank account if only you would be able to send us $ to help liberate it.
