I've liked Neil Young's music since I was a kid in the 70's. My parents used to throw the "Mahoning Valley Easter Festival" every spring. About 50 or so people would show up every year. Some years close to 100. Old college buddies who made a pact and got back together every year in honor of Woodstock.
My sister and I would help our stepfather build a stage in the back yard for the band(s) the week before. A couple drummers would be there, a couple guitarists, etc. My step dad was in a band so he had a pa system, old Gollehon speakers and stage lighting. It was a weekend affair. I was exposed to a lot of 60's and 70's era music (among other things
). Some of it really stuck with me. I love this song, and I love this performance.
