How do I hook THIS up?!

Hi folks! I have a Definitive ProSub 600

And I need to hook it up to my Onkyo 555:

I have RCA cables and speaker wire. Also, scissors and electrical tape

How do I get these two to play nice with each other?

Take an RCA cable and connect one end to one of the sub preouts and the other to the LFE in on the sub. No need for tape or scissors.

If you had no sub woofer pre-out on your preamp/amp then those pictured high-level (or speaker level) inputs/outputs might be useful. Might want to peruse a few of these articles http://www.audioholics.com/subwoofer-setup

Everything seems to be cranking along! The sub is pushing out some serious bass with the LFE. I was looking at the inputs on the sub and the outputs on the AVR and thinking, "well, there's multiple plugs on each so I must have to connect them all," not realizing that it was a simple one-wire solution. I appreciate all the help on this forum. You guys rock and/or roll!

Edit: I didn't even realize that the LFE was an input. There was a rubber cover on it and I thought it was some kind of light :/

Congrats! Just options....

Basically the LFE input allows your avr to control the crossover, altho sometimes you still have to dial the low pass filter on the sub to maximum to move it out of the way. Sometimes you have a pre-out to feed the sub, but no bass management, so then you need to use the low pass filter adjustment on the sub....
