Does the bass and/or LFE sound different based on receiver used?

Hello,
I watched the video "Do All Amplifiers Sound the Same?" and it brought up a question. Given a set of speakers, can the bass and/or LFE of a movie sound different based on the receiver being used? (Assuming power ratings are not variable between receivers and they can decode the same audio formats). For example, would the LFE track sound the same with an entry level receiver when compared to a flagship model with the same powered sub?

If setup in the same pure direct mode should be the same, but if you've run an eq/setup program like Audyssey or MCACC or YPAO etc then differences would probably be evident.
