Neural X ? What is it ? What do I need?

Hello - I have a marantz receiver that updated and now has this feature ...

Do I need atmos speakers ? I have a 7.1 ?

For gaming & movies what should I set it to ? Dolby ? Neural? Or mult 7.1 f?

What is best ?

Yup I like X better. I fact I think I like X better then native Atmos.

For gaming I let the console do the processing as some games have their own object based audio.

It will still work with 7.1 depending on the source material

You need to add overhead speakers.

I have the Marantz 8802a processor I put two overhead speakers in it's amazing it's 7.2.2
