Wharfedale - Diamond 225

Anyone have any experience with these? I'm about to order a pair and give them a test against my Wave Crest HVL-1 and some B&W 686 S2 and possible the Def Tech SM55(if they have them in stock) that I'll borrow from the local shop.

Ordering them in white.

Slightly odd-looking waveguide on that one. If they are anything like the other Wharfedale speakers I have heard, they should be quite good.

I guess the 225 is just a 220 with a 6.5" instead of the 5.1" in the diamond 220.

I just purchased them myself in white (the 220, not the 225) to use as rear surrounds. Tried them out as front speakers for 2 channel audio. Sound great, but obviously not as powerful as the 250 towers that I use as my fronts. You are correct in that the main difference between the 220 and 225 is the size of the bass driver (5.1 vs 6.5 inch).
