Question About Studio Monitors cables

Hi Everyone! I'm a newbie so go easy on me please :)

I'm going to buy an "audio interface" and a pair of "studio monitors" for music production.

I was interested in FOCAL ALPHA 50 Studio Monitors --> http://www.focal.com/it/alpha/493-alpha-50.html

My problem is that these speakers can be connected in "BALANCED MODE" only with an XLR cable...
this may sound stupid but i think that almost every AUDIO INTERFACE only has normal TRS outputs...so the question is how can i use those FOCALS with the audio interface using the BALANCED cables?

Ok thanks, but the question is: will this somehow compromise the quality or create disturbance?

Both XLR and TRS use the same balanced interconnect system, just different shaped connectors.

NOPE!

Wire is wire, as long as it is of sufficient gauge. All you have is a different termination on the end of the wire.

a) decent explanation here: http://www.aviom.com/blog/balanced-vs-unbalanced/
b) Your focals do support unbalanced RCA input and there's nothing wrong to use high quality insulated unbalanced (two conductors) RCA cables for a short runs (under 50 meters or about 160 ft)
I run my "studio monitors" from my "audio interface" using rca cables.
Most of the noise was eliminated from pc once I added optically connected "audio interface"

From an electrical point of view, wire gage has nothing to do with it.
From a mechanical point of view, the wire needs to be thick enough to be robust.

For any cables over 3 meters (10 feet) I would always use balanced interconnects if available.

But if long (15 meters/50 feet) unbalanced interconnects are needed, I would use the Blue Jeans Cable LC-1 coax.
