Cool, and a lot more accurate than some of the World Fair predictions. This one was made by Philco. Still, some things are funny... like a wife's purchases automatically sent to the husband's computer for payment. And especially like the pictures of circuits.

But yea - electronics shopping, banking, emails and home video surveillance are common.

Yes, but even that will be just a history lesson. They are really trying to move away from the hard lines.

They can take hard line away from my cold dead hands. Any wireless tech is not nearly as reliable as wired. One exception is dedicated point to point line of sight link when absolutely necessary.
