Monoprice Monolith 7

Curious that Monoprice would then upload pics that didn't have that on it nor anywhere in the literature. Seems to me that would be a big selling point.

I might venture a guess that Monoprice (ATI?) wants to leave open the possibility of assembling this amp elsewhere. It seems like this is a discontinued ATI design. Whether ATI sold the tooling and design to monoprice or contracted to provide the units to Monoprice is not certain, but if Monoprice has the ability to move it to China and increase their profits on it, it is certainly a possibility that they will.

the backpanel says engineered and designed in USA so I was assuming production is currently being done in China but I will inquire for the review.

If imported as assembled then it should be labeled properly with country of origin. Customs worries more about bomber shoes than legalities these days IME (I'm a lifer Customs broker)

That's what I was curious about. Some back panel photos say manufactured, but the main image on the website noticeably leaves that word out.
