Anthem and Crutchfield

Hey everyone,

I was checking out crutchfield's web-site and discovered they are now carrying Anthem's line of MRX receivers! I thought this was interesting since Anthem is considered somewhat of a boutique brand and is normally available from a select few authorized dealers (at least in my area). And most of those dealers don't have a demo on hand to listen to.

They have to sell their stuff too, so sooner or later they'll cut deals with online distributors who have wide coverage.

No different than manufacturers selling lower lines through anybody and upper through high end stores. As John said, it's all about dollars in today's retail/internet market

Agree completely. I was wondering about their sales since they don't seem readily available.

Note that Crutchfield also sells McIntosh products...
U may be interested that production for the Anthem receivers is shifting to Vietnam from China.

Just my $0.02... ;)
