Right, but how do you sleep smelling that Pork cooking? It would literally keep me up. In fact, it is making me hungry just thinking about it right now....LOL!!!! No really, what kind of electric smoker do you have? I been thinking about getting one myself. How does it do with keeping the flavor caked in?

I have a masterbuilt MES 40 and it's great. I leave it in the garage with the door cracked while I sleep, and I don't smell it in the house. It's amazing for doing butts, and whatever else really, but the flavor doesn't compare to what I get when I cook on my Lang, but I would still recommend one. It's always nice to have a backup smoker, or something for when it's rainy outside.

My Lang is the 48 patio model, I was really lucky and found one on Craigslist about an hour away from me, and had a friend with a truck and trailer pick it up with me so delivery was no problem. It is very heavy, but rolls really well and it's built like a tank.

Boston Butts are on sale yet again for $1.28 a pound! Will have to buy (2) of them. Gosh that sounds so delicious!

Strange. Been seeing the same price here. Used to be $1.99/lb was a good sale. Maybe the vegetarians and vegans are having an impact. YIPEE!!! The more of them we have, the more the price of food will drop!

Just looked at another ad and the butts are .99 cents a pound on Friday. Will have to go cash in on that one for sure! Just in time for the holiday too. Can already taste it now.....LOL!!!!!

Well folks, hope everyone is having a good and safe holiday weekend. Just pulled my Boston Butt off of the grill and is now in my slow cooker. Will be adding some Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ sauce. Gosh it smells sooooooooooooo good. YUMMY!

It turned out very good. But, for some reason or another it was a bit tougher. Have plenty left.....LOL!!!! Right now, just listening to my new speakers. I am in heaven.....wow!
