My Rear Power Socket is not working on an old 80's Technics Tuner.

Is there a way to repair it or is replacing the piece the only option.
the Tuner works fine its just the socket will not work to power my other rack system components.

I briefly looked inside and its like a little piece you can snap off the board if you need to replace it.

Apparently not, but here's some advice.

1) Some power outlets are not powered at all times. Some only work whe the unit is switched on. Could this be the case? ..

2) As for repairing it, if you can fine that piece thrlugh some outside means unknown to me, then if your skills are sufficient it should, be an easy task to replace it. If f you have to send it out then it could become costly. In either case, that part may no longer be available.

3) If the tuner works otherwise, I'd just let it go and find another means to power said other device.

Can you post a photograph? I can't imagine this will be a difficult repair.

The power outlet may also be fused or equipped with a circuit breaker (as well it SHOULD!) and that could be failed/tripped.

What is plugged into it and what load is the outlet rated for?
