BJC Series F and FE

I've got a couple of older Series F cables and was surprised that my latest order for Series FE was a little thinner and more flexible. I thought they were both the second tier offering from BJC but wasn't able to dig up info on the Series F.

BTW, my TV has a known issue with something they call floating brightness(FB) IIRC. I was interested in seeing if there was an improvement by swapping out a cheapie HDMI from my cable box. The FB isn't nearly as noticeable from an Oppo BR player. Once again the subjectivist states from his back foot, "my g/f could see the improvement."

Jacket size only affects flexibility. I'll guess the wires inside are identical in size and type. I have both F and FE as well and never noticed a difference.

My 3' Series F came from you with the Oppo deal. I wouldn't expect to see any differences in the picture going from F to FE. They probably just figured out a way to maintain their in wall rating with a thinner jacket but I thought it was odd that the info on Series F isn't readily available.

I've been using whatever hdmi cables for everything except my in wall runs going from the entertainment center to the rec'r. I'm getting ready to do another in-wall HDMI run and wanted BJC quality for that ... so I order that cable plus 3 more and cry about the bill while wishing I had more locking bananas ...

I think they had the info for the F on their site before the FE, so it may be gone now. Shoot them an email if you need info.

I don't need the info. It's just something I'm a little curious about but not curious enough to start emailing folks. I figured that Kurt would eventually spot the thread and that would take care of that.
