Hello all,

I am newbie here.

I have a MyGica ATV-380 hooked up via HDMI to my Pioneer VSX-522K. I can get video but no audio. When I switch my TV speakers on with this connection I get sound.

I did hook it up to my TV via HDMI and then ran an HDMI and an optical to my receiver. Again the TV speakers play it fine but it won't make it to the speakers hooked up to my receiver.

All my other items hooked up to the receiver via HDMI play both video and sound onto the TV.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for your reply. I wet into the settings and from what I can see stereo up mix is not selected and the box is not muted.

I do Katie that in the menu that the option "audio output device" is grayed out and set at "Android, audiotrack".

Also "pass through put put device is also greyed out and "Android, audiotrack" is also selected.

Thanks again for your reply. I should have been more clear. It is still not working.

I believe what I wrote here has something to do with the lack of sound.

I am not sure my receiver speaks that language.

OK is it lacking sound or no sound? Still no sound please provide all pieces of electronics in the chain, including make and model number.

Go into your HDMI settings in your receiver menu, and set HDMI out to off. Then you will have sound from your speakers and not the TV.
