hdmi output of av receiver

I have connected my hdmi output of satellite receiver to SR 5009 AV receiver hdmi input. Output of Av receiver conncetd to my 4K VU tv. I have ARC on tv. The audio output from speakers i think is low though it is a 5 channels X 140 W rms .
Suggest how to cornnect.

How do you mean the output is low? Low compared to what?

Forget the ARC. You have it connected properly. If volume is low just turn it up.

Arc feature may allow you to feed digital audio back from the tv to the receiver when using the tv's built in functions like built in tv tuner or smart tv netflix apps etc. Can complex to get working as the setup on tv and receiver have to be right and the correct sound input selected on the TV. For your sat box output ARC is not needed
