Need help making a decision

Soo, I'm a student with a very small budget and am looking to setup a basic home theater setup. I am looking to get bookshelf speakers, and my max is $130.00. I am stuck trying to decide between the CB-10 or the BS22. Room is 17'6" by 11', and in a small apartment.

Thoughts?

Does that $130 include a receiver? Would you consider used? In which city do you live?

Sent from my LG-VS980 using Forum Fiend OSP v1.3.3.

https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-b652-air-6-1-2-2-way-bookshelf-speaker-with-amt-tweeter-pair--300-651 with a used receiver from craigslist would be good for your budget. Or even better if you can find some nice used speakers from craigslist. Or if you want new amp then Lepai 2020A+ would do the job in your budget. But for that budget used gear is really good option.

Edit: With lepai amp you can only get stereo sound, so not real home theater system. With used receiver you can add more speakers later for surround.

If you can provide your location perhaps some one can check your local craigslist for used gear.

Forgot to mention that I'll be getting my parent's receiver as they are upgrading to a new one. I was just stuck between the BS22 and the CB10.

Am currently located in NJ.

I'll look at Craigslist for some options. The Philharmonics are unfortunately out of my price range.

That is a shame as they are truely amazing speaker for the price they go for and can compete with speakers with much higher price tag.
