I've been looking for headphones for a while and have narrowed it down to 9 options. I'd like to know your opinions as to which one you think is best. I like strong full bass, but don't want to sacrifice any other aspect of the sound to get it. I also care about comfort as I will be wearing them for extended periods.

Out of those Sennheiser HD600 is most neutral and imo best sounding headphone, however they are not bass boosted. Beyerdynamic DT990 would be second imo, they have slight bass boost but they still sound really nice. If you want good sound with hevier bass boost get the Denon AH-D600.

Just an aside, but when you say "strong full bass", I don't really know what your expectations are but you will never be able to get that gut shaking, visceral feeling you get from a speaker, particularly when combined with a subwoofer.

Audio-Technica ATH-M50 have nice bass and I like mine.
I recently bought the JBL Synchros S500(not bass heavy, but natural sounding bass) and they are nice as well. You can get them on ebay for about $50-60 shipped. Amazing for the price.

I do like these headphones, but they are a bit too bass heavy for my tastes. I usually tone them down a bit on the bass.

I love mine for lap top/iPad listening. Pretty portable for such a full sounding set of cans.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. To clarify, when I say "good bass", I don't expect subwoofer levels of bass. I've used Bose QC15's and found those to be just a tad too far in the bass direction, but only because the rest of the sound felt a little underwhelming if that helps. I don't want to sacrifice something else in order to get bass. Would I be better off EQing something like the HD600? I'm worried that if I did, the rest of the sound would get washed out or distant. I've never EQed before, so take that into consideration.

It's also possible that the HD600s would fit my needs without any sort of EQ. I know they aren't bass boosted, but if they have truly solid bass, that's all I'd need.

Sound is so subjective that it is really hard to tell if solid for me is solid for you. I myself find HD600 to be perfect headphone for the price point for me. It would be best if you can try them on somewhere and find out yourself if you like it or not. Or possibly order from somewhere who offer free returns.

They have a similar response curve to the HD 598s (at least in the bass curve) and I have tried the 598s. Personally, I don't like boosted bass and they sounded even across the frequencies when I used them on my phone unamplified. When I plugged them into my receiver (amplified) they had a lot of bass; too much for my tastes.

The only one of those with which I have personal experience is the HiFi Man. I own them and can tell you that they are truly outstanding at the $300 price level and easy to recommend. Your best bet is to hear as many as you can and decide for yourself. It is your preference that matters, not ours.
