4K scan, the film is obviously not 4K native. I picked up the 4K scanned Edward Scissorhands and I do have to say I can see the improvement.

I had the Superbit, the Original released early Blu-ray that had a missing audio track, and a replacement Blu-ray for that. ALL of them were stolen... so I'll be picking this one up.

There's a thread for this sort of thing too :)

One of my Men In Black movies is a "super bit" I'm not sure if the superbit is in the video or audio side :p

Superbit discs were supposed to have higher video quality via a higher video bitrate, however they were also all supposed to include a dts track in addition to the DD track, which most discs did not do at the time. In some cases the dts tracks were full bitrate (1509K), which was a noticeable improvement over even standard dts at the time, but not as good as current DTS HD-MA or DTS-X. As for the video, as always, it depended on the source material and the transfer more than anything. My superbit Heavy Metal didn't look significantly better than the previous DVD.

Watched this the other night, awesome sound. Some improvements on picture in parts of movie. Watched at '0', hit 89db. Used Audyssey for 9.1 with the Onkyo.
