You certainly have been all over the map with your opinions over the years. I've made the mistake before of trying to interpret any particular post of yours and using it as some sort of guidance. The one thing you've been consistent about lately is that you like to have adjustable bass. You think if it sounds good it is good. You think measurements are BS and you think relative accuracy is BS. Got it.
I say it how I see it. There's nothing for me to gain.

If my opinions change based on my changing experience, that's just life.

I don't try to doctor my posts to make sure everything I write matches perfectly with everything else I've posted.

And for the whatever-number-of-times already, I am not here to write a novel or book to guide anyone when I am expressing my opinions. Take everyone's opinion with a grain of salt, your opinions include.

Dennis Murphy, as well as others, have said, " If it sounds good, then it is good". I am just rephrasing, for the whatever-number-of-times already. So you can tell Dennis Murphy that.

And if you do a text search, I have never said that measurement is BS, so don't put words in my mouth, for the whatever-number-of-times already.

Apologies. Can't believe the auto-spell on my iPad failed me with the spelling. :)

No alcohol for me, though. :D

I'm not sure what you mean by "worth it". The discernible differences between a $25K car and a $75K car are huge and unsubtle, much more so than the differences between a $5K speaker and a $50K speaker. Do you want to spend your wealth that way? Well, that's a different question altogether.
I was just making an analogy to ADTG's statement that expensive speakers aren't worth it.
Worth is in the eyes of the beholder was my point.

It is the way I am wired: knowing a car is disposable prevents me from being willing to spend more money on it.
The differences are huge and unsubtle, but I don't value them. All I want from a car is reliable transportation with seats that don't give me a backache! Okay, I do want more than that, I usually go for the performance version of my econobox! Most modern cars have good HVAC, are not too loud, etc. I don't even feel compelled to swap out the stereo.
