My situation is that I currently have a Yamaha RX-V675 and I have 7 speakers hooked to it. I recently picked up a Kenwood Stereo power amplifier model basic M1. I also have a couple unpowered subwoofers that i am looking to hook up to my system. I am aiming to somehow drive the kenwood with a speaker output on the yamaha. I am not experienced and do not want to damage anything. Anyone have an idea of how i might do this or use the kenwood in another way to improve my system?
Thanks

You are wasting your time. You can not do that. You need a receiver with pre outs. You NEVER daisy chain power amps, which is what you would be doing.

Caution: Without know which unpowered subs you're intending to drive, it is very likely that the M1 may not be a good match for them and you could end up blowing the amp or the subs or both.

Since the Yamaha has subwoofer out. Simply take a RCA cable and connect the Sub Out from the Yamaha to the M1's L,R Inputs. The M1's Speaker connections on the to the unpowered subwoofers.

In the Yamaha run auto-setup so that it detects the new subs.
After auto setup is complete, go through and verify that all main speakers are set to "Small".
