Thanks, that was my main concern with the Amazon "used". I could not find a statement of warranty for these items and Amazon is not easy to ask (at least I don't know how you would find out).

I've ask Denon support this question: " If I buy an open-box item from Amazon and not from a 3rd party, do I get full warranty as if I walked into Best Buy and bought an open-box item?".

Both times, the answer was "YES, you get full warranty".

So you could call Denon and ask the same question I asked. Then it would be 3 times confirmed.

I just grabbed one of the A4L deals at 999 but I also bought the New Leaf 5 years warranty. Should be here tomorrow. It will replace my 18 year old Harmon Kardon AVR80/ADP303

I'm new to Audioholics.com, but have owned the Denon 4520ci for over a year now. I absolutely love it! I've got mine set up in a 11.2 system with the Emotiva XPA-3 running my front 3 (L, C & R). Sounds phenomenal after running Audyssey XT-32. That being said, I bought an open box Oppo BDP-105d to replace my BDP-95. For whatever reason, I've had problems with the Oppo and Denon HDMI handshake. I then decided since I'm not going to use the Oppo 105d on board dacs, I traded the 105d for a brand new Oppo 103d thinking the open box 105d had an issue which at the time is why I thought it may have been returned. Now the Oppo 103d is doing the same thing. I called Denon tech, and they said if it was an Hdmi issue with the Denon, I'd have issues with my other HDMI outputs/inputs. So, now I'm exchanging the Oppo 103d for the Denon DBT-3313udci (recommended by my sales rep at Magnolia) since it has the Denon link 4th gen, and that should take care of the hdmi handshake issue. Has anyone had this issue before? I'm using all Audioquest hdmi cables, the same cables I used with the Oppo bdp-95 and Denon 4520ci and never a single issue. Any feedback would be much appreciated! I'd recommend the 4520ci to all!
