I will be upgrading from my in the box Polk RM6750 5.1 system when I move in to my new home in a few months.
Planning on getting Definitive Technology system, 8060 center, LR studio monitor 45 and promonitor 800 as rear.
For a sub wanna get a SVS PB2000, in Canada this will cost 3322$can. with time will get a marantz sr7008 to replace my Pioneer 522k receiver, I will be using this mostly for movies and sports. Please offer me your 2 cents on this.

first of all matching center to studiomonitor 45 is CS-8040HD, not 8060.
second: Did you had a chance to listen to these speakers?
third: how big is your total room volume? including open spaces

I have listened to the studiomonitor 55 and I love them, trying to save a few dollars by going with 45's.
the room is 1520 cubic feet and there is a 6x7 feet opening at the back and the right side of the room.
was thinking of getting the 8060 center for more full sound in front of the tv. plus plan on getting 55 or 65 maybe even towers later on.

If you loved 55s,then you should get them with matching center (can't check right now). Skip on deftek surrounds and reuse your Polk speakers for surround duty.
So whats the total volume including adjusting room which have openings to. Sub will "see" them too. Pb2000 is good sub, but at least in US one could find much better sub for about same dime. Hsu, reaction audio

Kitchen and dining room are 1500 cubic ft to the right and to the back is a hallway and front entrance/staircase maybe 600 cubic feet, as for subs I was under the impression from many reviews svs was the best bang for the buck for subs. if I can find hsu or reaction audio in canada would consider but have not seen anything on them why should I consider them?

They do ship to Canada, but shipping maybe quite expensive. I dunno
Reaction Audio:

Contact the RA owner - Jeremy, regarding shipping to Canada
Both of these provide much more powerful bass than pb2000
PB2000 is upgraded version of PB12NSD. Echo 15 is upgraded version of PV-15X
you can find and compare their performance here:

p.s:
10db difference is about double the loudness = http://www.sengpielaudio.com/calculator-levelchange.htm

still 8040 btw according to dek tek. You don't really want center to be much louder than L/R. After auto-calibration - it'll will lower the level of center to match mains anyways = aka wasted money
Better invest in more sub ! :) Never too much sub
