We are moving back to the UK and I cannot justify keeping this (voltage conversion/packing/shipping/storing and buying a house big enough for it - not gonna happen).
I LOVE this sub. It DOESN'T suffer from the later reliability issues that sadly plagued Epik (I wasn't able to find a single example of a failed Valor online) and it has served me well in my media room.
I CANNOT ship this. I am happy to deliver within fifty miles and maybe more if we can come to an arrangement.
It's pretty big given it has a 15" woofer in a sealed box but it sure does sound good and it integrated easily into my setup.
The specs are: 16.5"W x 22"H x 21"D.
350 Watt BASH amp.
I still have the foam padding it shipped with which I use to isolate it from the basement floor; very effective. It includes the standard power cord not the Zu Birth in the pictures and not the BJ sub cord either.
$400 is the asking price - this is a lot of sub for that price. Paypal acceptable.
Here is the text from a review done by craigsub on another forum where he reviewed a whole bunch of subs for HT and Music performance. The Epik bested many subs of greater cost.
"Epic Valor
Listening results: The Valor is a subwoofer which will be the answer to
many budget audiophile's dreams. It is an exceptional musical performer
from about 18 Hz and up, with a very agile presentation of bass at all
times. In our smaller basement theater, using a pretty good high end
set up, it amazed listeners in its presentation of the Steely Dan 2AN
disc, and also with its slam for HT. It is not an SPL monster like the
(Epik) Castle, but in the right room, it is magic.
Measured Results: 20 Hz... 99 dB ... 20-63 Hz average: 109 dB"
