Best storage container for CDs

Since I have ripped my CD collection to hard drive and I'm running out of room on my media shelf, I'm looking for a container to pack away my CD collection. What is the best container do store them in. I would like it to be water proof if possible.

Have you tried Pelican cases? Don't know how big they come, but they're waterproof and extremely durable. Depending on the size of your collection, you'll have to buy a few.

Maybe an ammo can, if you can find the right dimensions.
