Split between what to sell advice

I am thinking of selling off some of my equipment to fund other audio stuff. Just can't decide what to let go. All of them have their plus and minus points to them. Right now I have two 2 channel audio set ups in the same room.. I should sell one set to fund another audio project.. What would you sell off? I know it's up to me but I am just looking for opinions here just to see.
Speakers. RBH SX6300/R or Ascend Acoustics RAAL towers
Primaluna HP integrated or Parasound P5 with ATI 2000 balanced amp

Which speakers and components would you keep?

Well it depends. You could sell what doesn't fit your own personal needs best. You could sell based on what you could get the most for. You could sell what there is the most demand for. It just depends on how much money you want to get to fund this next project, how fast you want the sale to happen, or if you really want to sell anything at all.

Thanks. It is very hard to sell any of the equipment. It all sounds great. I thought about selling both sets of speakers and picking up a larger RBH speaker like the 8300. I think I saw a new RBH with ribbon tweet. That would be nice.

Nope. :D

I know you love it. So although I would get rid of it, you shouldn't get rid of it if you love it.
Depends on the day too.. Ha...Sometimes it moves me sometimes it doesn't. Strange right??

You mean it "depends" on the songs? That is understandable because some songs are bad. Or does it depend on the day or your mood?

I don’t like anything that depends on my mood or on certain days. I like something solid and consistent.

Sell it all but the ATI amp to get these and build up a new system around it..

To be honest. If I could really sell all the items I would do it. Might be a pain to ship it all but like Deftec, I would end my search for the ultimate speaker and set up.. All I would need to do is add a center channel to the amp, pick up a center and add a TV. Oh, and a pre-pro..

Hey, don't try to outdo me!

Did Gene say the new SV modular tower is $9K MSRP? Darn, that's cheaper than the SX-T2/R, which is $12K MSRP!

Only thing is, will they physically fit in your room?

I would have to use these in my living room HT set up. Merge it all into one spot. I'm looking to move and a room of this type is on my list of must have.

One system to rule them all is a good plan IMO.

Definitely keep the ATI amp.

Yep. Going to do it. Selling it all except the ATI amp. Going for one system. As soon as it's sold I'll be talking to you A.....

Well, you have plenty of time to think about it because the new SV flagship won't be available for another 6 months. :D

I'm in no hurry. It will take some time to put all this up for sale. Who knows, it might not even sell.
So should I put a pre order in on these towers? :D:D:D:D

I would say, identify what you don't like about your current setup and then how much of a budget you think you will need to replace the components. You might find that what you have is fine.

You can't even pre-order if you wanted to. :D

I think what he has is already more than just fine; it's great.

But that's life - if you don't have the flagship of ANYTHING, you are going to WANT it. It's not about "need" or "great".

That's why I had to get the Lexus LX 570, when the GX or even the RX would have been more than "fine".

This is especially true if you believe you are buying your "dream" system or dream anything.
