My Sony CD/DVD player is hooked up to my Smart LG TV with HDMI Cable, But my Audio is hooked up by RCA cables to my Yamaha Stereo Integrated amp!
Problem is when I'm watching Oscar Peterson working out on DVD, his fingers hit the piano a little after the sound comes out of my stereo?
Isn't the speed of Light faster than the speed of sound :) ?

I sometime have the same problem when watching Satelite TV and listening thru the stereo instead of TV Speakers. I take the audio via RCA Cables directly out of the Satelite digital box feedng the TV.
I do this in order to listen to the satellite supplied Radio stations etc without wanting to have the tv on.

Help,

This is a common problem doing what you are doing. The problem is digital delay, either in your Sony player, the TV or both. Different devices might perform better, no way of knowing. Look in your Sony manual and see if there is a way of delaying the sound via the software set up. If not you are out of luck. Your best solution is an AV receiver so that audio and picture will be synchronized.

Thanks TLS, I though so.
The TV has an adjustment somewhere, I'll check it out
