I use one to clean out my ears about once a year. That's how we used to do it in the hospital and it works great. Always use warm water or you will cry.

Your not supposed to do that, friggen cowboy
Your parents never told you not to stick stuff in your ears and nose?

Your ears should clean themselves, I go to the ENT dr once a year and he looks in my ears and says OK, your good..., I tweeze any hairs you can see, use a q tip for the outer ear and soap and a face cloth for behind them, thats it...

I once had a clogged ear and figured I would try using my wifes netty pot style pressure vessel, I squeezed too hard, felt dizzy and passed out, never again will I mess with that stuff...

Anyway, I see the waterpiks are much less expensive now...

"must have" :D now, don't stick stuff in your ears, its bad for you... My wifes medical degree has taught her a bunch and she said the same thing, "DON'T STICK STUFF IN YOUR EARS" , she has pre med through fellowship, and granted she works/ed in pediatric imaging with kids, she still has them 2 letters there with her name...

My wife used to use one of those, but now prefers this instead:
http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Sonicare-HX8211-02-Rechargeable/dp/B00CUG270S/ref=sr_1_13?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1419964373&sr=1-13&keywords=water flosser

I hated the first one, but the new smaller one is alright.
I ordered the sonic care and the waterpik, my old pik' was portable and the new one is not, so I will see which I like better... Mouth wash kills me, its too strong...

And regular floss grosses me out to no end, everything about it, fingers really close to inside your mouth, twine of the devil it is, you can color it green and mint flavor it all you want its still the work of satan...

I didn't even know that I wanted one of these until now.
LOL, I can't live without it, its been a few days now and I ordered them on amazon, the waterpik should be here tomorrow and the other one on monday. No amount of brushing feels clean after using the water jet unit for years...

Dentist: "Do you floss every day?"
Jeff Foxworthy: "Well... not every day. Let's see, the last time I flossed... YOU did it".
