Canada's Nations capital is in lock down mode because of two terrorist aresholes who decided to go on a shooting rampage on Parliment Hill.

Last report is he was shot in the abdomen and was put into an ambulance.

Sorry 'bout that. Once the virus gets into your system it spreads and it's dang near impossible to eradicate. Ask England, France, Germany and other European countries where they constitute a sizable minority. And, we're not ones to talk, either.

This is an ongoing situation. There is/has been shooting going on inside the Parliament buildings. Although I'm over a thousand kms away, the threat level has been jacked up here and security measures raised accordingly.

According to one of the MP Tweets, there were 30 shots fired in Parlement Hill...and the assumption is that they got the guy that got into the Hill. There were shots fired just down the road at the posh Chateau Laurier and at the nearby shopping mall. So far that makes 3 three people. The soldier shot on the hill is in critical condition at one of the local hospitals.

I know a lot of DND personnel in Ottawa - they're all under lockdown at the moment. I just found out that the soldier shot at the cenotaph has died.

Of course, this comes on the heels of the incident near Montreal yesterday, where one of these nutters ran over a couple of soldiers, killing one. The cops shot that guy.

It was a matter of time. The USA and the UK have each suffered several such events in the past few years. Up here, plots like this have been uncovered and broken up before they happened - until now...
