By the way, the 'Osiris' version uses a wideband RF frequency range and the one branded simply 'MX-350' uses narrow band which is compatible with their newer narrow band base stations, like the RF-260.
Speak of the devil ... :D

I seem to recall you bringing up, in a discussion with Clint(?), that the narrow band RF worked better.

Fair Warning

This went absolutely nowhere. I spent hundreds of dollars and wasted a bunch of time setting stuff up and taking pictures. After an absurd amount of time went by with loose gear and wiring in my entertainment center I just packed it all up and got it the f^%& out of here.

So much for 'really good' remotes a la BMX. At first I thought some serious personal stuff might be happening but at this point I don't give a sh!t. I'm angry enough about this to have fantasized about taking a sledge hammer to the stupid Crestron and URC sh!t that this guy had me buy.

I'm sorry to have wasted my time. YMMV with this guy.

Yes it's personal so a heart felt GFY is in order.

Sell the Crestron gear gear, pick up a urc base station and a usb to serial cable and a null modem adapter. Then you can just setup yourself. The 850 editor software is very simple to use.

Alex - I had sent you a couple of emails about some pieces needed and some questions for you... then haven't heard anything back from that, or for a long time thereafter. I think I actually have all the code for your setup pretty much ready to go, and have had it for a while. But, no idea where you disappeared to.

I certainly didn't want you feel like you were just being ignored. You could PM me or have emailed me at any point in the last few months if you were ready to get things going.
