Do I need 6 more channels of amplification? No, I don't, but the heart wants what it wants

Yeah, even if I sold these, I would still have the AT6012, which has 12 channels of amplification for backup. :D

I don't think I will sell the AT6012.

What you should do is get 6 channels of ATI amps and get read of that crappy Cinepro amp to me. I still have one space left. Why to they call that Cinepro the mother ship of power amps, I have no idea.

Haha, over my dead body. That big sucker is staying with me, unless I can find a newer, bigger model to replace it with :D

Every time I see you guys talk about amps, I want to keep these ATI amps even if I am not using them at all.

Amps are weird. A lot of times it's not about needing them. You just want them. Sometimes for no good reason at all. :D

The amp thing is crazy. I have no need for anything beyond a mid level rec'r but it was difficult to remove a couple of Marantz mono blocks and let a relatively powerful rec'r push my bookshelves in a 2.2 system. I needed the space so I retired the amps but I'm not getting rid of them. Mine!

The amp addiction is truly crazy. :D

I've sold many amps, and I still have 5 amps. I am really ambivalent about selling these amps. :D I just have a feeling that if I sell them, I will have the proclivity to buy more amps!

I'm always looking for excuses NOT to sell them.

Do I need help? There is no drug for amp addiction. :D

The only help for this is to give the amps away. I'm here for you. :D

I know what you guys are saying. I still feel the sting of selling my AT2005 even though I cannot tell any difference using my 4520 receiver. I do still have the AT2002 because I still want at least one dedicated amp in my system for no other reason than want.

Damn it. That's it. Prices going back up. :D

Something tells me I'm going to end up with 5 RBH towers and 23 Channels of ATI amps.

Definitely you might end up with 23 channels if you keep raising your prices when someone expresses interest and offers $50 more than you paid for the thing! $1500 seems steep when I can call (not go off what the website says) ATI and get a B-stock unit for the same price and have a 7 year warranty?!? Electrolytic capacitors degrade over time, so it seems easy to tell what the best deal might be.

Not that I think anything's wrong with flipping something for a profit, but wanting to make $350 on something that has a fixed lifespan is...
I just accepted an offer to Buy a 10/10 rating AT3002 amp from Classic Audio Parts on Audiogon for $1149 + Shipping!:D

A part of me doesn't want to sell it. I love ATI amps. So unless someone pays me $1500, I'll just keep it.

Here is the b-stock AT3002 for $2245 + shipping from California.

I have chickened out and removed both AT2004 & AT3002 from eBay listing. They are no longer for sale. I just can't part with them. Especially if someone insults me because of the asking price. :D
