real sound vs speaker reproduced sound

Just got a negative reputation for saying this.

Instead of growing a backbone and saying it to my face, this is what they said behind my back: "What usele advice. You have really weirded out. Get a life."
ADTG, with all due respect, and humor :), don't-worry-be-happy, or whatever you said, isn't exactly profound advice on a forum where we endlessly debate the differences between SVS and Rythmik subwoofers. And - you have "weirded out"! You abruptly sold a whole bunch of absolutely awesome equipment in some sort of audiophile nervous breakdown that leaves many of us scratching our heads. :) So how was this negative rep comment incorrect? :D

If I could get 1 cent per point I'd have my 4311 and a serious sub upgrade by now.
Don't you have four new woofers now? Sounds like a pretty serious upgrade. :D Plus, you should just offer to babysit one of Fuzz's subs. :)

Those subs are 4 for $125. They're just to play around with. All I really want for the LR is 2 sealed 10" SVS jobs to replace my Infinity PS10's. Size and neighbors have to get factored in. ManTown is surprisingly well covered with the dual DIY deals ala TLS. The way they sound and the way I have 'em dialed in to sound at low SPLs isn't something I can imagine improving on.

I don't have the day it would take to get out to NY before YAA leaves and all three of us know that he would never see me or his subs again. :D

Let's get back on topic. Poor ADTG. He got red repped and is now crying all over the huge pile of cash he got for selling his gear. Boo hoo hoo. :D :p
