I went for a walk today at lunch and stopped by a used audio shop. They had a Nikko Alpha230 power amp listing for $300 and a matching preamp (forget the model number and price) I was always intrigued by Nikko.

I loved old nikko tuners and preamps. Amps were a beast. Keep an eye out for some of the old nelson pass nakamichi branded amp that pop up cheap.
