new to the forum and sharing designs. this is for a Infinity 120.9w in a 6th order bandpass box this particuliar box was designed for a sedan car for a customer, asking for an SQL setup. let me know what you guys think thankz in advance.





it has an F3 of about 18hz in car response. everything else shown in the graphs

It's a one note bass thumper isn't it? It will also have very high distortion.

The only band pass boxes that I think have nay validity is the vented one side and ported in the other.

The trick is to try and optimize Q. If you lower Q too much then you get a narrow band. However if is you widen Q to 0.7 with the right driver you can usually get 3 db points of 30 to 100 Hz range or at least 90 Hz with acceptable bass quality and distortion.

Your box will be a very low quality sub.

Just build a sealed sub with a low Q and you will have plenty of SPL for a car.

If quality is the desire, then sealed is the way to go.
