My ears bleeding is usually the first limiting factor before getting to that kind of power :eek::D

Yes, indeed. While I don't monitor current draw on my APC at peak impulses, my system less projector draws 4A at idle and most of the time And, I do have a few amps lugged into it. ;)

I know you get what you pay for but..
I can get a 20A receptacle at my local home improvement store for anywhere from $.33 - $6.00. Is Hubbell worth twice the price? I realise were only talking a couple bucks. Oh and I can get them in black, white, brown, tan, off-white etc..

For the average home owner, probably not. They are worth it if the application requires it.
If you have an outlet that's high traffic and gets something plugged in repeatedly;that's a good place for one.
They maintain their clamping force, even after years of use.
They are high end devices and usually called for in commercial and industrial applications.
