True, but the punishment should fit the crime, particularly a heinous crime like this. It looks like a higher power stepped in to see that was the case here.

I was speaking more to the way the news picks and chooses the stories that run.
The only good thing is that it got CNN to interrupt their endless coverage of Flight 370

Yes, CNN has some weird preoccupation with 370.

The news has always been that way. They want to tell you things that will get you to watch, not things that have any real use. Funny game that is. "Throw your pacifier away"

Yes, instead of of just reporting the news in a neutral way.
They tell people what to think and how to think...... and then it's their lies by omission.
If they didn't report it, I guess it didn't happen.

I'm going out on a limb to say that the punishment did not fit, now if they would have revived him and then proceeded to bury him in a semi conscious state well then yes it would be some what more fitting , ... IMO.

This animal shotgunned a young female and buried her alive ,The story quoted him as saying that his biggest fear was a painful death so I wonder what his fears were when he blasted a young lady with a sawed off shotgun and then buried her ALIVE , .. sorry no sympathy here.

*edit- Better yet just bring back the firing squad and or hanging , history shows those methods were very reliable.
