FS: Arx A1b

Selling a pair of Arx A1b speakers in very good condition. There are a couple spots where the vinyl has rippled up a little - corners and driver cutouts. I will be posting detailed pics so you know exactly what imperfections are there. Otherwise, the speakers are in great shape - no issues whatsoever with the drivers and the speakers are perfectly functional.

I'm the second owner, and have had these in a smoke/kid/pet free home since Nov 2013. Selling because I have two pairs of these, and was using one speaker of this pair as a center channel. I recently purchased a used A2rxc, so I no longer need this pair.

Includes grills, port plugs, and original packaging.

I tried to get pics of all of the cosmetic issues and posted them here: Arx A1b - US Audio Mart

The vinyl is a little rippled above the tweeter of one speaker. Also, there is some slight lifting in a couple corners. The biggest issue is on the top of one of the speakers - the vinyl lifted so the original owner glued it back down. You can see it is not longer smooth and there is some rippling in the vinyl where it was re-glued.

I did not realize they were this bad on the second speaker (I only used one as a center) when I posted the ad. It just goes to show I do not have enough time for this hobby as I usually thoroughly inspect any used speakers I buy.

Anyway, I'll lower the price to $160 + shipping given the fair cosmetic condition of the second speaker.

I sure do want to try them, but for it to make sense for me I'd have to get them a little lower. Mostly because the first thing that's happening is that vinyl is coming off and I'm thinking a nice veneer might be going on.
