This one's for Ponzio and Sophia for
next Sunday's ride, weather permitting.
Takes a minute to get going, but your patience will be rewarded.

Thanks, me & Sophia got a beautiful day, in the 78 to 82 degree range. Had to tread lightly though since a lot of loose gravel made for some a$$ puckering moments around some corners but it was just great to get out and about. Also the snow this year has done a number on the roads; cracks and potholes abound. But that's the beauty of 2 wheel ridin', it focuses the mind to the exclusion of everything else, including one's woes.
Great tune. I highly recommend Richard's 4 cd box set,
Walking On A Wire (1968-2009). Saw him at the Tower Theatre, opening for Crowded House, playing this in '91.
A side note. Me & the missus were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary with a bottle of champagne, before the show, tailgating out of our Chevrolet station wagon ...
my one and only; for the weasels (kids) ... and a pair of beat cops passed by. The one cop says, "you know that's against the law". I explained we were celebrating our 10th and I could tell he was going to tell me that's no reason, when I added we had a 5 and 6 year old, 18 months apart, at home and he smiled. The other cop, straight-faced says, "and you only brought 1 bottle?".
But I digress ...
Luckily I don't bring the tunes when I ride ...
too much distraction ... but if I could, it would have to be Jools Holland
Town & Country Rhythm & Blues [with Chris Difford] or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Whatever Happened To My Rock 'n Roll.
Great documentary BTW on Valentino Rossi; available on Netflix streaming the last time I looked, if anyone is interested.
