This film is awesome from a pure mindless entertainment value. The video is stunning and the bass in this movie will make one's heart skip beats. Surround sound is everywhere. It also has its funny moments. This is one movie where the sequel stomps the prequel into the ground.

Overall, I liked Thor - The Dark World. I would give it an "8" out of "10" rating.

My wife gives this movie a "2" out of "10" rating.

I liked it and thought it was better than the first. Although I liked the first as well. GF ruined the audio side of it so now I have to wait until Saturday when she's at work to watch it again properly.

Yea pretty much. The grin went away pretty quick when she came over and spun the volume knob down though.

I just watched this last night, and I liked the first one better. I thought that the character development and story were much better in the first one, and the action and bass were also there.

Watched this one via Redbox and thought it was much more entertaining than the first one. The first one had good action but just an average story IMO, while this one was more balanced and fun.
