I just bought and fi ssd 12 it's around 750rms I have an 1800 watt Kenwood Class D monoblock amp to push it but it doesn't consistently push it cuts out I don't know if I need more power from the amp a different fuze I have a hundred amp fuse under the hood coming off the battery or a better alternator I don't want to keep spending money on new stuff if I don't need it so if anyone could help I would appreciate I.

Is it dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm and how do you have it wired?

Its a dual one ohm ani have hooked up positive to positive negative to negative with the wire running out of each to the amp

That's probably you're issue right there. That means your amp is seeing .5 ohms and it probably either isn't getting enough current or the amp isn't stable that low. Switch to series wiring and you should be Ok.

That worked thanks man pushing alot better had to turn amp down but pushes consistantly now

Good this will not only keep it working but will make sure you don't blow up the amp and damage the driver.
