Need help with Yamaha Receiver-HDMI inputs sound very low

I'm having issues with two different brand new Yamaha Receivers. First i tried the RX-V773, returned it and got the RX-V475. Same issues. The sound volume is normal when i play net radio stations or airplay songs. But when i use switch to PS3 or Uverse box, the sound is extremely low. I using hdmi cables for everything. I have to crank up the volume to -20 db. Has anyone noticed this issue on Yamaha's?

-20db does not seem "very low". I hit and pass that regularly for movies. But for Pandora I rarely go above -30db. And keep in mind that Airplay volume is influenced by the volume setting on your iPhone. I'm not real sure you're seeing a problem. You have a lot of volume still available past -20db, and I don't think you can expect every source to provide the same input level.
