First. Congratulations. :) Second. I admire your diligence trying before you buy. Third. If you are like many of us on this site, you will never be satisfied for long but enjoy that feeling while it lasts. ;)

Thanks, Danny! I had a Bose Acoustimass 6 system before this, I think this is why I'm temporarily satisfied. Lol

Congrats on getting what you wanted. I tend to agree with Danny and Garcia, this too shall pass...lol. One reason why I'm way to scared to be tempted to listen to anyone's system anytime soon. I'm on a WAF budget and if I hear something I like, of course, I'll be tempted to "upgrade."

Lol ... Yea I have to stick to this for a bit to get my money's worth, that's why I tested so much and returned a lot of stuff...

Like others said, you will be back in the market sooner than you think. When I set up my firs 2.0 system I was like YUSSSS its awesome, then I wanted a little more top end clarity and faster lows, then I wanted something that looked nice then more and more and more, and I still want more. I am sitting here listening to it rite now and I can tell you first hand I have put a decent amount of time into this and I know it can be better...

It's been a while since my last upgrade and only thing which is keeping it bay is the need to save toward upcoming large project

Be satisfied. Some people enjoy changing equipment more than they enjoy music and movies. If you are one of them, then you will want to change soon.

For my part, I am satisfied with everything except my TV, which could be bigger and better. Even so, I have resisted upgrading for several years.

I'm sure I will not be upgrading or changing anytime soon, unless something breaks .. Lol it is electronics we are speaking of here.

Well, it's been two years now, still satisfied? I have now enjoyed my home theatre system for over 16 years updating only three times with an Airport Express, Panasonic Blu-Ray Player, and a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi HD. What is somewhat surprising is that my pre/pro, and amps are still working and have yet to need any repairs. I did need to replace the laser on my Sony SACD Player about two years ago when I discovered it would not play the SACD Stereo layer on Hybrid SACD's. I also needed to repair one of my Sony DAT Recorders when I recognized it would not find time code addresses; and, recently, I had to refoam my JBL L100t3's.

Buying quality instead of a price point seems to overall have been a less expensive route to home theatre enjoyment for me. I see folks today that buy for a price rather than just saving a little more for what they really want. When folks do this, they are disappointed before they even get their purchase home to hook up. They are destined to spend more than needed, if they had just bought what they wanted in the first place.
