I am sorry to link to another site because simply put we should have more of this going on around here, I went down this road myself and have two totally incomplete projects collecting dust in the corner of my shop, too bad really but maybe this spring I can finish them up.
I saw this build and just wanted to share the cabinet style with you guys, the carpenter seems to be really good at what he does with these.

I saw one guy mention that he could even help his cause if he changed the driver positioning to something more like SWWMMTMMWWS < as insane as that looks. Too bad he already put so much effort into his front baffle. Those waveguide rings are kinda cool, although I'm not sure if they're going to negatively impact the drivers since that is wayyy more than flush mounted.
